Why Nicosia homes get this: Nicosia's post-2022 buyer cohort renovating older apartments in Strovolos, Aglandjia, and Engomi drives demand for custom interior carpentry — fitted kitchens, wardrobes, and joinery upgrades. The Mediterranean termite (Reticulitermes lucifugus) is endemic across the district. The walled old town's traditional timber shutters, doors, and balconies need heritage-appropriate restoration under conservation rules.
