What's the difference between a verified and a claimed provider?
Verified means HireLocal has checked the provider's licence, insurance, and reviews. Claimed means the business owner has logged in and confirmed their listing — they may or may not also be verified.
How does HireLocal vet providers?
We combine public data (business registries, maps, Google reviews) with document verification for any company that applies for "Verified" status. Every customer review is tied to a registered user account.
Can I leave a review after hiring a provider?
Yes. After creating a HireLocal account, you can post a review on the provider's profile. Reviews are moderated to prevent spam.
