Methodology & sources
This index combines publicly-cited national pricing references (HomeAdvisor 2025, Angi service-pricing reports) with government wage statistics (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics OES 2024, GUS Wynagrodzenia 2024, CBS Lonen 2024, INE 2024, Eurostat 2024) to produce a quarterly reference range for typical residential service-call costs. Ranges represent the 25th–75th percentile of observed quotes for non-emergency residential work in the cited city; emergency and after-hours work runs higher. Data covers Q2 2026 (April–June). YoY changes are versus the equivalent Q2 2025 reference. Subsequent quarters will incorporate aggregated quote data from HireLocal's provider network as sample sizes permit.
